Saint Patrick's Day 2004. I had just learned to appreciate (and even like ) beer a week or so prior, so one of my friends and I decided to go to a seedy little bar and drink green beer. We invited some of the people we volunteer with and a couple of friends. Eight of us gathered there that day where we sat, talked, laughed, played darts and drank green beer. Everyone was socializing and getting along and having fun. it was one of those comftorable, safe times when everything felt... okay. It was an amazing and fabulous feeling.
